1.1 Due to time constraints, the Members agreed to consider the revised draft report outside of Committee.
2.1 The Chair welcomed the Members to the meeting. There were no apologies.
3.1 The papers were noted.
3.2 The Chair agreed to write to the Welsh Government seeking further clarification on MyTravelPass and Housing Adaptations and on the special payments made by the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales.
4.1 The Committee took evidence from Welsh Government as part of their inquiry into the costs incurred on the M4 Relief Road.
4.2 Andrew Slade agreed to send further information on:
· Details of the total net cost for the M4 development – itemising total development costs plus winding up costs and any other related costs, less any profits from the sale of properties acquired, other income or costs recovered;
· Send copies of the M4 corridor around Newport, Objectors’ Suggested Alternatives Report (March 2017);
· The breakdown of the proposed tunnelling beneath the Gwent Levels, how these costs had been benchmarked and what percentage they were of the overall costs of the alternatives;
· Provide a timetable on the disposal of the properties in the Welsh Government’s ownership.
5.1 The Committee took evidence on their inquiry into the implementation of the NHS Finances (Wales) Act 2014 from Welsh Government.
5.2 Dr Andrew Goodall agreed to send further information on:
· Provide details of the appointment of the Turnaround Director at BCUHB from the recent external recruitment exercise
· Provide a description together with examples of what has been funded as part of the Transformation Fund
5.3 Due to time constraints, the Chair said he would write to the Welsh Government with a number of questions on the use of agency staff in NHS wales.
6.1 The motion was agreed and also included the meeting on 16 September 2019.
